Fruit of labor
Basil is the earliest harvest from our garden, followed by snow peas. We're so excited to pick the greens from our garden and cook the meals out of them.
We have bountiful of basils that we try to use it in almost every dishes we could imagine. We stir-fried green beans with basils, put basil in beef hash, tofu, hainan chicken, pizza and pasta. Having basils in every single meals for a week straight makes us really sicken of it.
"Mom, it tastes like the freshest basil in the world!", that's our little one's compliment.

I thought you said that you can't grow anything? Really nice to have fresh veggies isn't it? I miss my garden alot. I tried growing the seeds that I saved from there and none grew...I don't know if it's the soil or it me? LOL!
As always, love seeing your pics and Elle is getting taller.
I'm glad my not-so-green-thumb finally grows something. It's fun to watch the seed grows, develop from bud into fruit, and then harvest from garden to table.
Probably m'sia hot weather is too much for the seeds from here :)
