Happy Halloween
This year Elle was supposed to dress up as a little red devil. When I got the costume in the mail, it turned out poorly made with cheap materials and ended up returning to the shop. While pondering what she's going to be this year, I found the dress given by her great-aunt. She was screaming "Princess" at the dress, giggling and twirling in her princess dress like the happiest princess in the world. So, a princess she is this year.
The celebration kicked off a day before Halloween with a Halloween party at her daycare, hopping from one classroom to another trick-or-treating. Elle must be really proud of me that she'd walk up to her teachers one by one and then pointed at me telling them "This's my mama.". One time she grabbed my cellphone and showed it to her teacher saying: "This's my mama's phone.". Gosh, she really cracked us up.
This year Halloween fell on saturday so we had an early trick-or-treat starting around noon inside the shopping mall. It's fun to see so many kids dressed up trick-or-treating in the mall. Oh, the grapes costume. Yes, GRAPES! It's so creative and cute! Elle was giggling so hard pointing at it saying "Grapes! See, grapes!" in disbelief. The little girl wore a purple winter jacket with purple balloons pinned on the jacket and on top of her jacket hood. Imagine those crazy men dressed up like fruits in the fruit of the loom's commercial, except she looked super adorable.

Later on, we went to the Kalamazoo Valley museum making a few craft projects. We made a magic mirror covered with spiders and webs, a bracelet and a crown. Elle was having a blast.
This's her loot.
We had a surprisingly pleasant warm day a couple weeks ago. I took her out to the park taking pictures of her in her princess dress. This year the bribe was her tricycle. This's how I bought more time: "One more picture and I'll get you the tricycle, pleeesseeee. Pinky promise."

Autumn in Ann Arbor
Beautiful autumn foliage along Huron river drive. What a gorgeous day to take a stroll at Barton Nature Area to enjoy the beauty of the color season.

Barton dam on the huron river. It's really cool to walk across the top of the dam. Elle was cautious stepping one foot at a time forward as she realized she could see the water down there through the holes at where she stood.

We rolled on the fallen leaves throwing them at each other and held her up high in the air plucking the leaves on the tree.

After having middle eastern lunch at Jerusalem Garden, we walked around University of Michigan feeling old as we're amid the collage students.

Happy birthday dada!
As her lil' sweet tone of singing the song "happy birthday" to dada filled the air, our hearts melt.

Autumn in Grand Ledge
Lunched at Korean house. It turned out all the dishes we ordered were red hot spicy. Elle gulped down plenty of rice and water during the meal. She's such a trooper!
With a full belly, we had a nice long stroll at the fitzgerald park along the ledges and spent hour playing at the playground.

We're lucky that we did not miss checking out the dam at last minute. The gorgeous view simply took our breath away: the sound of rushing water, trees blasting in color lining along the river, and the autumny reflection in the water.
