A fruitful day
The sun finally broke out. It had been raining days and nights since we got back from our river getaway. As the peach season is still running, we went to the orchard to pick a few of these juicy yummilicious.
Apparantly the apple season is not far behind. Rows of apple trees are loaded with fruits already.
After picking, we had some hay fun! There were bales of hay piled up high in the orchard for the kids to climb all over.
Then, we headed fishing on the st joe river. Elle said good luck to dada with the victory sign and half an hour later Hin pulled up a King Salmon out of the water! He was thrilled.
Elle had heaps of fun splashing water to the fish, patting it, and chilling out at the shore wiggling her toes in the water and throwing rocks. What a great Surf 'n' Turf day we had!

Ah Hin seems to be having good luck with the fishes but when we were there, I fell asleep on the rocks waiting for something to happen :)
To him, fishing becomes a complex knowledge of studying the river, finding the holes or pool where fishes are, even the temperature matters now.
I agree it gets bored just to watch and wait for a good catch which may happen or not. You should have picked up the pole and joined them. :)
Ya I should but my pole don't have a line no more...left at Allegan Dam along with all my fake fish, I'm always catching rocks but I did manage to catch a pike though that one day. I didn't even know I had a bite. I thought that my line got suck in between some rocks & I called for Adnan to untangled it for me then he said you got a fish on your line...hehehe...that really made my day but the guys were to excited to even catch a pic of my catch...hiyo!
The thrill of catching a fish brings great excitement. Get ready for a big trophy fish in fall season. I'm really looking forward to take a picture of 50lb fish.
