Boo! Happy Halloween!

There's a Halloween party at daycare in the morning where the kids put on their lovely costumes and enjoyed a sweet-tooth feast. All those babies were so darling in the ladybug room.

Today's weather was incredible pleasant, around high 67F, perfect for trick-or-treating. During the car ride to Jessie's neigbourhood, Elle was in such a high spirit for trick-or-treating that whenever mama screamed out "Trick or Treat", she'd shake her candy carrier excitedly. My lil' red riding hood worked her charm getting her trick-or-treat candies around the neigbourhood. After walking a block, she requested to sit inside her stroller. It's funny to see her digging right into her pumpkin head candy carrier to see what she got inside.

It was a fun night blasted with sweet candies.

Take me home, anyone?

After dinner, we hung out in the living room watching the telly while Elle was exploring funs around. At first, she wanted us to put on every single hats on her and then off she went dragging bags from the living room to her room back and forth non-stop. The apartment was filled with her laughters and noises. The dragging-bags-around workout just went on and on that we didn't even realize she was not on the move anymore. I looked around and found the silly baby bagging herself inside a big shopping bag, sitting quitely watching the telly. Where's on earth did she get this brilliant idea of bagging herself? I'm totally floored.

First steelhead of the season

What a big smile Hin put on, holding proudly the first steelhead he caught. He has so much enthusiasm for fishing these days.

Daredevil

This lil' busybody kept pressing her dada to give her a bite when we're eating curry chicken. To teach her a lesson, her dada shoved a spoonful of curry rice into her mouth intending to scare her off. We watched her face closely anticipating her screaming her heart out and tears spilling from her eyes. Uh-uh! We're wrong. Instead, she looked into our eyes and said "More More"! and gobbled down 10 spoonfuls more.

Later on, we decided to test her tolerance of spiciness, so we tricked her by misleading her the curry gravy was soup soup and then gave her a spoonful. We smiled derisively when seeing her tongue was hanging out of the mouth and breathing puffily. Her dada asked her, "辣不辣?". She nodded and said "辣!!". Her dada asked "怕不怕?". She said "怕!!", but then pointed her finger to the bowl saying "SOUP SOUP!" and wanted more! Oh boy, our belly hurts!
