C’mon, already. Just drink it!
It puzzles us a lot how on earth does Elle grow into her 90th-percentile weight. After been daycare for 2 months, bottle striking is still going on strong. Elle scores so many "DIDN'T WANT" on her daily care sheet at the end of each day that we have no problem making them into a "Wall of Fame".
It has never been a problem at home, until recently. For some reasons, Elle refuses drinking her milk at home. We have tried forcing and coaxing this stubborn little thing. In the end, it's always her way or no way at all. She is just one feisty baby to fight with.
She purses her lips and jerks her head away, twisting, screaming and kicking, like we're trying to feed her poison. She strikes in silence when she is fade up of fighting back. She holds perfectly still, lets us keep the nipple inside her mouth, but no sucking action whatsoever, stares at us eye-wide or closes her eyes pretend sleeping to declare a stand-off.
Bottle feeding has become a trial of wills and patience. Ours wear thin.

Dear leleng, i think your little one has started to become 'choosy'. For some baby, once they have opened to choices of food, they will be getting picky. However, it might also be that she's growing up and she's starting to change her eating habit. Ha ha...so do enjoy!

Bottle striking starts before she begins to experiment with those mushy baby food. Isn't it weird that she'll take water over milk? She immediately purses her lip once we switch from water to milk bottle.
We had a bottle battle this morning. Elle fought too hard that she lost her balance and slipped through between my legs, literally "standing" there to declare her victory. It was darn funny and silly.
Ha ha ha! Goodness me! Seems that she wanna make her own decision!
Or may be she was introduced with some yummy juice and she rather prefer that. Anyway, sometimes just expect the unexpected...ha ha! According to my mom, i was also reluctant to drink milk from a very young age, she said i prefer Ribena rather than milk...ha ha!

We have not introduced juice to Elle yet, so it's a choice between water and milk. Hin almost lost himself during the night feeding yesterday. The total milk consumption for yesterday is equivalent to her 2 months old's consumption. We are worry, yet frustrated.
During her 1st month, we acted like a control freak when it came to feeding. She always wanted more, but we were reluctant to give her more. I guess it comes back to bite our ass now.
